ITO Kosho is a soft, grippy yarn that impresses with its volume and impressive stitch definition. Made using the carded yarn process in Japan, it combines 90% mulesing-free merino from Uruguay with 10% cashmere, which makes for a particularly luxurious and pleasant feel. The yarn is spun on a carriage spinning machine, making it particularly light and airy.

The yarn count of ITO Kosho is ideal for a variety of projects, including accessories such as shawls, thin cardigans and sweaters as well as baby clothes. The yarn is particularly interesting when it is double-knitted to create mottled effects. It can also be perfectly combined with other ITO yarns to achieve varied and creative results.

For projects that require a DK weight yarn, there is ITO So Kosho, which consists of the same basic yarn but is twice as thick and delivers around 175 meters per 50 grams. Thus, both ITO Kosho and ITO So Kosho offer flexible and creative possibilities for any knitting project.
